Enroll here ($300)I’m not a YouTube guru with millions of subscribers. I don’t even have 10k subscribers yet—though I might by the time enrollment open.
I’m just a guy who needed to grow on YouTube, sifted through thousands of hours of (mostly useless) “how to grow on YouTube” videos, and wasted thousands of dollars on equipment I didn’t need.
But I figured everything out. Now, I’m growing my channel quickly, making money, and—despite the heavy use of AI to help me do this faster and more efficiently—I’m not a “faceless AI” channel.
If you want to grow one of those channels, this course probably can’t help you—though it might.
If you’re a writer, professional, or subject matter expert with valuable insights to share—but you feel like YouTube is too complicated, overwhelming or time-consuming to get started on—then this course is for you.
I started my channel in August 2011, but I didn’t really do anything with it until 2021 when I signed my book deal with Penguin Randomhouse. I figured that I should grow on the platform so I had another outlet to help promotion.
But I failed miserably.
I gave up after a few dud videos, and almost wrote YouTube off. But, I saw the potential, not just for my book, but to build my email, grow my authority, and make passive adsense dollars.
So, in the spring of 2024, I went back into it. But this time, I studied everything and committed to learning how to edit. I got *marginally* better results, but it took a LOT of time I didn’t have juggling having a baby, training, and stuff related to my book.
If I was growing fast, I might have kept down that path, but I wasn’t making any headway. That is, until I realized something powerful:
I had been focusing on stuff that didn’t matter. As a result, I wasn’t really growing. Especially not enough to continue down that path.
I got frustrated, but this time, instead of giving up I got some well-timed inspiration and realized there was a better way. I realized that I was doing the right things the wrong way, and spending way too much time and money on stuff that didn’t matter.
Also, between my first attempt and second attempt, AI technology had made serious strides, and that saved me time and money. Now my videos are performing extremely well! Because I focused on what mattered.
The best part is that I realized you don’t need any fancy edits, b-roll, or music. You don’t need to spend thousands on equipment. All you need is the willingness to learn how things really work, apply them, and make adjustments.
On December 1st, 2024, I got monetized within 30 days of making these adjustments. Now my channel is earning a little passive income that will continue to rise.
In this course-cohort, I’m teaching you everything I learned, saving you loads of time and money—the time and money I wish someone had saved me.
You’re a writer, professional, or subject matter expert with valuable insights to share.
You see YouTube’s potential but are intimated or overwhelmed by the technical aspects. You want a simpler way to do more with less work.
You already create written content on platforms like X, LinkedIn, or your website, and you’re tired of low views and engagement.
You have real expertise, stories, and insights to share (not just another “hustle” channel).
You want to get started on YouTube, but don’t how to go about it.
You’re already on YouTube but aren’t getting the views and subscribers you want.
If you’re like most people, you probably think you need fancy edits, b-rolls, and music tracks to hold attention.
Well, you don’t. I’ll explain the psychology of why this works and give you examples of other creators doing well in all niches with this style of video. Once you see this, you’ll no longer take my word for it.
The course starts here because I need you to believe this is possible. Just because you spent the money doesn’t mean you’re sold. But once you see these examples, coupled with my results, you’ll be in.
I’ll outline the software and equipment that you need. I’ll give the cheapest options along with what I personally use. I’ve had do videos do well on either version of the equipment I’ll outlinem but I did make inexpensive upgrades to my audio, as that is the most important thing for Zero-Edit YouTube.
As I was mapping the syllabus out, I almost left this out—not because it’s not important, but because I figured I’d just insert it along the way. However, I realized that this topic needs it’s own module.
If you don’t understand the game you’re playing, you’re far less likely to win. Once you know how the algorithm works, you’ll see why a few things matter ALOT and everything else is irrelevant—or worse, hurting your video and channel.
Click-Thru Rate (CTR) is one half of the key to YouTube success. You need to create a winning thumbnail and title to get people to watch your videos.. Furthermore, your thumbnail and title need to come together to create the perfect packaging for your videos.
You’ll learn the AI prompts I use to create titles from my ideas. You’ll also learn what matters for thumbnail design. My thumbnail designer will be giving a tutorial on using AI prompts to generate thumbnails.
If CTR is the yin, Average view duration (AVD) is the yang. Neither is more important than the other. YouTube videos that get picked up by the algorithm have both a good CTR and AVD. This module teaches you how to craft a script to increase your AVD.
After the viewer clicks, they need a reason to stay. It’s not fancy edits, b-roll, or music. They stay for two reasons: your video delivers what you promised in the packaging and it does so in an interesting manner.
I’ll teach you how I script my videos to keep people watching.
So I lied. There is a *little* editing. But it’s super fast, easy, and requires nothing special but one of the programs in the opening stack. You don’t NEED to do any of this editing, but it does add a polish.
You’ll also learn the simple AI prompts to write the best video description for the algorithm. I watched a LOT of videos on YouTube, and no one is talking about this method.
I’ll also tell you the list of things you should NOT do in the upload and post-production process that are ruining their video’s chances of getting picked up by the algorithm.
If you follow these steps from beginning to end,

You can do everything I’m going to teach in this cohort for free if you have the right environment. But, ideally, you can do this for $25-50 at the minimum.
The course will start on a certain date. Over the course of the next 3 weeks, I’ll send out two video lessons per week. I’ll also have 3 live Q&A sessions of 2 hours answering questions.
You’ll also be added to a private telegram chat to communicate with me and the other upcoming creators.
I’m not trying to hustle you, but no. That’s for 3 reasons. First, and most importantly, I’m investing my live time into this cohort-course. You can’t give me my time back, so I’m not giving you your money back.
Secondly, my reputation in the course game is solid. If you’re hesistant, shoot me an email at ed@edlatimore.com, I’ll send you all the testimonials from my Twitter Growth Courses (I have 208k followers there).
Lastly, what I’m teaching you works. You still leave with that knowledge. Check my page out to see my recent videos. I’ll teach how to get results like mine with the same level of production and editiing.
I’d love to tell you that my course is perfect for you. Instead, I’ll be honest. You can probably learn a lot from the course, but it won’t map 1 to 1.
I learned how to grow on YouTube without the fancy edits so if you’re *convinced* you need those edits to succeed, this probably isn’t the course for you.
As much as I’d love to, I don’t have the time to take on individual people to coach (at least not at a price point that makes sense). My thumbnail designer is available for work and he may pitch you, but that’s all.
I’ll give you my affiliate link to purchase any of the products I recommend, but outside of that, the only I’m making from the course is your enrollment and any adsense dollars the video I make promoting the course generates.
No, my method does not require you to share videos on other platforms. In fact, here’s some free game that I’m teaching in the course. DON’T DO THAT.
The goal is to grow on YouTube. Not to pimp other platforms into bring you into YouTube,
