Taken right after my last sparring session before going 10-0

From my biography over at Roc Nation:

Known as “Black Magic,” Edward Latimore III continues to establish his pugilistic prowess in the ring with the hopes of becoming the next great American heavyweight. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Latimore had a standout amateur career, compiling a record of 40-11 while racking up accolades including winning the 2011 Pennsylvania Golden Gloves and the 2011 National PAL as well as winning a silver at the 2011 Ringside Tournament. As an amateur, Latimore defeated several current top professional contenders such as Dominic Breazeale and Charles Martin.

Latimore turned professional on January 26, 2013, scoring a third round technical knockout win over John Hill at the Serbian American Cultural Center in Weirton, West Virginia. After tallying knockout victories in three of his next four fights, on February 7, 2015 he fought in his first six round bout, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Brandon Spencer, again at the Serbian American Cultural Center in Weirton. In his most recent bout on December 11, Latimore notched a six-round unanimous win over Jamal Woods at the Wellsburg Banquet Hall in Wellsburg, West Virgina.

Latimore is trained by Tom Yankello, who has groomed and developed several boxing stars including former IBF Lightweight World Champion Paul Spadafora and heavyweight world title challenger Calvin Brock.

Outside the ring, Latimore is a multifaceted patriot and intellectual. He is a radio technician specialist in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, an AmeriCorps volunteer and is also working towards a degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering at Duquesne University. When he is not strengthening his body for boxing, Latimore exercises his mind to stay sharp inside the ring by playing chess. He has traveled to Moscow and Berlin to compete against world-renowned chess players. In addition, he is also a prolific writer having self-published several books and contributes to blogs.

In December 2015, Roc Nation Sports announced that it had signed Latimore to an exclusive promotional agreement.
